Carbon Labeling: Helping You Make Informed Decisions Impacting Climate As awareness of the dangers of climate change increase, purchasers and consumers of goods and services are interested in becoming better informed regarding the impact of their choices. Carbon labeling can help educate purchasers and allow them to make more informed choices. This site suggests the approach of performing an energy accounting (EA) analysis upon the product in question, and then to convert the source types and quantities of energy into carbon emission figures.
